Stewards Cottage, originally
part of the Brookmans Estate, has been the Golland family's
home for 30 years. It is situated in the hamlet of Bell Bar
and was built nearly 200 years go on what was then the Great
North Road.
These days it is a quiet backwater surrounded by agricultural
land. |

The house is situated on an unmade track between the farmhouse and
the farmyard. There is plenty of space for parking. The layout of
the house and gardens is rather unusual due to the fact that the original
house was divided in 1907, and subsequent owners have enlarged the
property.

The house is decorated
and furnished in a mixture of contemporary and traditional styles,
creating an elegant, but welcoming environment. We regret that
the house is not really suitable for children these days, nor
are we able to take pets as Pushkin lives here!
Stewards Cottage is a no-smoking area.
