Stewards Cottage is close to the M25, M1 and A1M. It is ideally suited for visits to London or escaping from London for a stay in the country as Kings Cross is 18 mins from Potters Bar station.
A visit to Cambridge it will take about an hour from Hatfield station.

Within a few minutes walk The Cock o' the North serves McMullens Ales and meals, or a short drive (or longer walk over the fields) will bring you to the award winning, real ale, free house The Woodman in Wild Hill.

There are many places to eat, either in pubs or restaurants, in nearby Brookmans Park, Hatfield or Potters Bar.

We ask guests to respect the fact that Stewards Cottage is our home, and not bring take-aways into the rooms.

There are many opportunities for country walks in the local Gobions Woodland Trust land, North Mymms House or Northaw Great Wood, as well as many other places in the county.
