The Breakfasts
A traditional breakfast, cooked
individually for you, is served in the dining room or, on a nice summer's
morning, in the garden. This includes organic eggs from a friend's hens in
the village, sausages made by the local butcher, locally produced bacon, and
tomatoes from the garden in summer.
For those of you who prefer a
lighter breakfast we offer cereal, home-made muesli, fruit, yoghurt,
home-made muffins, brioche or toast with home-made jams and marmalade.
The wholemeal bread is made by
local bakers from the flour milled at the restored mill in Mill Green,
Hatfield (www.hertsmuseums.org.uk/millgreen).
Wherever possible we use high
quality, locally grown, home grown, organic or Fairtrade produce.
Breakfast is served between
8.00am and 9.15am unless by previous arrangement. Please let us know if you
have a special diet so that we can cater especially for you.
